What do I need to bring for enrolment?
- Your child’s Birth Certificate or passport
- Immunisation Record (in the back of your Plunket book)
- Completed Enrolment Form (available from the centre or you can download it from this website)
- Any funding forms that may apply to your family (i.e. WINZ childcare subsidy application form)
How do I settle my child into the centre?
We have experienced teachers who will help you and your child to settle into our preschool.
We encourage parents/whānau to bring your child in for pre-visits before your child’s starting date. Your child is supported and encouraged to participate in activities with other children. Your child may choose to stay with one teacher until they are fully settled and that is okay.
Parents and whānau are more than welcome to stay with your child when they first start. We suggest a couple of short days to begin with so as to support your child’s transition from you to our centre.
Do you provide any free sessions?
We provide flexible sessions based on parents’ needs; morning sessions, afternoon sessions and school-hour sessions are available.
At Parrs Park centre, we provide free sessions for over 3 year olds. Healthy and nutritious morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are provided.
At Happy Kids Preschool, we extend the government funded 20 free hours to 30 free hours (terms and conditions apply). We also have affordable fees for all the children attending our centre. You might be eligible for Zero Fee enrolment!
